"While you're at it" is more commonly used. ^^ It would be used in a situation like: Mary and Steve are sitting on the couch together. Mary gets up to grab a glass of milk from the refrigerator. Mary: I'm going to get some milk! Steve: While you're at it, can you grab me a soda? I don't think I've ever heard "While you're about it" before. ^^
