Fenton Benton 麻雀虽小,五脏俱全!
Are these correct? Thanks From what you've said, you still have the wrong notion that London is a foggy city. From what you've said, you still have the misconception that London is a foggy city.. From what you've said, you are still under a wrong impression that London is a foggy city. As always, other ways to say would be highly appreciated:-)

If I understand you correctly, you think that London is a foggy city, right? This way is the polite way. You are asking the person to confirm what they have said. Then you could say 'Well, let me just say that I have spent a few years here and it's only really foggy in the Autumn. So I think maybe you have seen a lot of movies or pictures that tend to show London like this when it's actually not like this all of the time'. This way is less accusatory as far as the other person being 'wrong' and is lets you gently explain things to them rather than accuse them of being wrong.

All of these are correct ways to say that somebody has missunderstood the situation, you could also say " Did you know? London is only occasionally foggy or "What you are saying is only true sometimes." Hope this helps
