Hoosier is the nickname for the state of Indiana in the United States. If someone indeed mentioned "Hoosier tails", then that might be a play on words, meaning "Hoosier tales" or Hoosier stories. The innuendo might have some kind of sexual connotation, and my mother will not allow me to expound further.

This was not resolved after all. My mother does not watch me so close:) There is a few stories as to where the word Hoosiers comes from. One story leads to American Indians that are curious and pop into peoples homes, saying Whose there. BS? Probably. But there is a Book titled Hoosier Tales by John S. Blue.
