Question about a few sentences in " Set fire to the rain' s lyrics" But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew All the things you'd say, they were never true, never true And the games you'd play, you would always win, always win what was " 'd " abbreviated from? I think it is " had" ? But, there were should have been " said" and " played" Is it " would"? But I have not ever seen the case "would" was writing in that way。。。 Tell me lol ~~~ thanks

Yes, you can condense "would" into apostrophe-d. the games you'd play = the games you would play. the games you'd played = the games you had played. Pay attention to the other verb and it's clear.
