Does is almost exactly like do. it suggests action. I do that = I take action which is that. She, it or he does that = She it or he takes an action which is that. So.... "It usually imposes strict time limitations on the speaker, and it requires more detailed preparation than the amount of preparation it takes for ordinary conversation."
