When do you assume life is forever lasting? i.e. When you're extremely happy and content? When you're extremely sad and distressed? Or both? Or any time and situation possible to be your answer. Why? And why do you make this assumption? at the current state** When do you assume life is forever lasting as the way it appears to be at the current state?

Life does not last forever. Even if you believe that after death you will come to live in another form, well it's just another life which has to end someday. Errr, I guess your question was more about emotions or feelings. So; When you are waiting for someone or something, you feel like it will last forever.

I think generally one would hope life would be everlasting when they are in a blissful state. The general meaning seems to be geared towards goodness not sadness. One would hope a sad and distressful time would not be indicative of an everlasting state. I think perhaps nirvana or some definition of that type would be more suitable than sadness.
