Does the sentence sound weird? 'the money earned by sticking at nothing' It seems the following sentence is better: He once stuck at nohting to make money. But I wonder whether it sounds weird if I speak it in the following way, because I want to emphasize 'money' here: 'His money was made by sticking at nothing' Any other phrases similar to 'stick at nothing' are appreciated.

Perhaps "stop" instead of "stick" makes sense. "He stopped at nothing to make money".
