what is 'beat gestures'?
I'm now reading a book, it says about gestures.
At first for facial gestures, iconic gestures, and others were readily understandable for me. But then I found 'beat gestures', and I don't understand it.
Does anybody know an easy description about 'beat gestures'? and please give me some examples of it...

Beat gestures are just that, rhythmic beating of a finger, hand or arm. They can be as short as a single beat or as long as needed to make a particular point.You know, often you might beat or tap your hand on your knee in time with music that you enjoy.
