culture difference UK and Japan I want to go to UK, but I don't have friends there. What is culture difference?

I'm an American, so I can't speak directly for the UK, but if you're planning on going to school or working there, you will most definitely be able to make friends through classes or on the job (since there's a mutual interest already right there). Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Being from a different culture will make give you plenty to talk about. I spent a summer in Singapore and made loads of friends from different cultures, it was amazing! Just keep a positive and inviting attitude. Strangers won't be as polite and you'll have to suffer from the brits cynical and dry humor. And it rains a lot. It's a cursed island I say. Yarr.
