Привет))) I can't give to you a great advice what the best way to study Russian is...but ,I think, it's up to you,it's better to listen to different Russian podcasts with translation, watch Russian movies with subtitles, sometimes the best way to speak is to learn the sentences and phrases by heart to be sure that it is pronounced by a native speaker and then you'll be sure that you speak correctly! Anyway , it's so pleasant that the foreigners like Russian language)))

I like the motive of learning Russian of Антон, a member of Italki. He is wrote "Я люблю Россию. Это всё". and "Russian will be my second mother tongue, no matter how long it will take!" It is really important to love something very much for keep motivated. I am not sure that Russian is easy and pleasant for studying, but you can find something you like (hobbies) and improve Russian in this subject.

Best advice - hm... I don't know, how hard is to learn my native language, but the best way of learning any foreign language is to practice it. Practice everytime you can, in your mind or speaking with a native speaker. Of course it would be better if the speaker knows the grammar of his native language rather well, so he could explain any rule whenever you need. ^__^

Я думаю, что поверхностно русский выучить не сложно, так же как и любой другой язык; для более глубокого изучения тебе по-любому нужно брать какие-нибудь курсы, ну или типо того :) или хотя бы найти постоянного партнёра который мог бы объяснить (именно объяснить) тебе смысл и значения многих фраз, думаю этого достаточно. Чтение различных статей также поможет, удачи ;)
