The previous answer about watching movies with subtitles is very helpful. The tip that works really really well for me is to listen to good and relaxing songs from singers of that country. For example I am learning Japanese now so i listen to Japanese/J-pop songs ALL the time. To improve your English you can try listening to Taylor Swift and/or Coldplay songs. These are very famous...^_^

I think good way to improve listening is listen more and more. You can for instance do listening tests which includes question for the recordings, then you are more focus on recording. You should watch films where people speak in English. When you have trouble with understanding you can always turn on subtitles.
