Help me please with the verb to like I have a doubt, which one of these sentences is correct? I like reading books or i like to read books

The sentences are equivalent. I have a doubt: Common in countries where English is a second language I am not sure: Spoken by native English speakers

It seems that all are saying both are correct. Personally, I prefer: I ENJOY reading books. and I LIKE to read books.

They are both correct, but they are not the same. Check the rules for gerunds and infinıtives. :)
