What is the word for 'to call' in japanese? あの abhilash さんと *** いいですか？ What should be the japanese word here. Thank you for your answers.So, is this correct? あの abhilash さんとよんでいていいですか？ I want to say this to an elder person.Sorry, あの abhilash さんとよんでいましていいですか？ I think this would suit my need. Am I correct?

あの、abhilash さんと呼んで（よんで）いいですか？ You can use this sentence for elder person. If you want to ask to a person for business, あの、 abhilash さんと呼ばせて（よばせて）いただいていいですか？あの abhilash さんとよんでいていいですか？ is sounds, Can I continue to call you abhilash? あの abhilash さんとよんでいましていいですか？ is sounds, Is it okay I call you abhilash?

Just in case it can be confusing... "abhilash さんとよんでいいですか？" "abhilash さんとよばせていただいていいですか”　are used when you want to call someone else "abhilashさん". When you want someone else to call YOU "abhilashさん", you 'd say "abhilashとよんでください"or ”abhilashとよんでいただけますか”.
