What does the following sentence mean? Hello, This is about George Clooney in "Up in the air", the movie. I don't get the meaning. So is he put his art into a public speaking? "It is an art that he's perfected and that he's even turned into a public speaking shtick about living without emotional attach."

I think this refers to George Clooney's real life persona resembling his character in this movie. In real life, he is known for easily cutting ties with longtime girlfriends who want to get married. His character in the movie easily fires people, devastating their lives. In real life, he claims he will never marry, no matter what.
