"Both of you gone just a year,,very queer indeed," First of all, you need to punctuate your sentences correctly. Just copy what you read and most problems will be solved. Both of you gone just a year - very queer indeed. Both of you gone just a year! --- is in fact an exclamation and not a sentence. It is quite common to make exclamations this way using the past participle on its home. Very queer indeed --- this is the actual response. You done your homework! Wow. You early today! How unusual! You not slipped up for ages! Congratulations.
