Well... Yeah, the whole world think we are romantic but I don't think we are really more romantic than other people... Of course we have nice place, nice town, nice good which can add some magic instants you know. But everyone should be able to be romantic... Unfortunatly this is not the case :/

Oui, on l'est... Probably come from literature culture etc... French used to be idealist more than pragmatic people... The difference with australians for instance is huge..

French is quite a soft language so it may sound more romantic than some other. It can also look that way because men are used to pay in restaurant (whereas this kind of chivalry is pretty much gone in Quebec)
