which one of the following sentences is correct?
"he did help me at the time..."
"he did helped me at the time..."

''he did help me at the time'' is correct.
In English, you only conjugate the first verb (do), then the other verb is in the base form or infinitive (help).

It's more natural to say: He helped me at the time or At that time he helped me to study/ to move house etc
