`How big can we get before we get bad?'" Hi, These are slogans for a company. I don't get the last one. What does it mean? "`Good enough is not enough,' `I'd rather be the pirates than the navy,' `How big can we get before we get bad?'"

I have a hard time believing this is a slogan for a company. Basically, it means, how big can we get before our own bureaucracy and administration start slowing us down and we become less efficient. Small companies that grow very quickly often become inefficient because they did not manage the fast growth well. I would take that as a warning, not a slogan.
