Questions for the Japanese people who DO NOT SPEAK CHINESE (中国語を話せない日本人に質問) Hello! :) I'm studying both Japanese and Chinese, and I would like to know how the Japanese people understand Chinese text. For some Chinese people sometimes it is hard to understand simple phrases like 僕は君が好き - in Japanese it means 'I like you', but a Chinese can translate it as "servant + master + good" (nothing about love feelings). Or f.e. the Japanese word 大丈夫 in Chinese means 'a true man' (立派な男性), 手紙 means "トイレットペーパー", 新聞 means ニュース and so on. I would like to ask you as you're the Japanese, how would you understand and translate the following sentences (without using translators)? This question is only for those Japanese people who do not speak any Chinese. 1. Thanks in advance! :)
