Ne demek boylu? As in uzun boylu adam. Why not just uzun adam? Why is boyle there?

And please notice that "boy" (height, length) is noun, when we add -lu at the end it becomes to be an adjective.

Uzun adam and uzun boylu adam both mean the same which "long man" Turkish word "boy" means "height" for living things or height as a math term for all beings. In other words; when describing people, animals and plants, it is okay to say "uzun boylu" or just "uzun". We already do not say "boylu" for nonliving beings, we can just say uzun or kısa-short.
