What's the meaning of leave-behind?
Q: Can you use a handout for an elevator speech?
A: Yes, you can actually use it in a couple of places: before you get started, if you have that luxury, or at the end, as a leave-behind for audience members.
If you are visiting a company to give a sales pitch, you might leave a brochure or a fact sheet with your audience so they can review it after you leave.
This brochure is called a "leave-behind," because you leave it behind.
