I have learned one grammar .Sb had done sth. There is also another .Sb has done sth .What is the difference between them.

When you say it you mean doing sth. before another action took place; eg. Tony had taken shower before he went to school (meaning: 1st he took shower 2nd he went to school).

2.Sb has done sth
You see the effect of the activity; eg. I have washed my car (effect: you can see how clean it's now:)
