questions What is the difference between 'Find' and ' Look for '? thx

To look for is to search, or try to find. To find is to actually find, or locate that thing. So - you could look for something, and not find it (unsuccessful), you could look for something, and find it (successful) or not look for something, and find it (accidental, or lucky, such as finding some money on the footpath) Does that help?
