What's the difference between [e:] and [i:] in German? I can't find much difference between them, is there some simple way to practice?

Well, listen to those two words: http://www.dict.cc/?s=Reh http://www.dict.cc/?s=rief "i:" is a very pointy sound. "e:" is flatter.

find some difference, but cann't pronunce [e:], it's like [ei] in English now~
