Expensive: costing a lot ( of money). Examples: an expensive car It's too expensive for me to buy a house. Extended: (Space/land/time and ect) reach or stretch, be continuous Examples: extended wires extended efforts

Expensive means it cost too much. Extended means make longer or larger.
