There are actually 2 manners to translate it : 1) The first one is -(이)라도 It can be used after nouns, adverbs or particles - If the word ends with a vowel, you put -라도 - If the word ends with a consonant, you put -이라도 2) The second solution is 대신에 but this one is used as "instead of" and you use it after a noun or a verb

you could try 도리어 or 오히려 or 차라리 <- all adverbs but if you try to say "instead of" then you use 대신에 after the noun
