which British accent should i learn ? there is one standard accent in Chinese,but not in British,as a foreigner,which British accent should i learn ?i have a book of BBC news.should i learn the accent of BBC or not?thanks!

Unless you have a very good reason to pick up a certain accent (eg. boyfriend), then you'd be better off sticking with a standard accent, ie. a BBC newsreader accent. When you talk to more native speakers, you may find their accents rub off on you... it's not a problem, just let it naturally happen.

Yeah. Local accents can be viewed quite negatively in the UK, anyway. True, it's becoming more accepted to have one, but I really don't see why a person would opt to learn an accent over RP without a specific reason to make them do so.
