Should I replace produce with a different word in this sentence? Being efficient is better than being effective since efficiency requires less time and produces the best result.

Sorry, but I disagree with Integrity. What you have written (with "produce") is very good. Another way to say it would be "gives the best result," but "produces" is better. I'm wondering if "brings..." is a British thing. Any Brits want to weigh in?

Produces" definitely fits the sentence better than "brings." Your sentence is very good, and it is clear too.

We can use "bring",too. It brings the best result.
