You will be surprised to know the prevalence of lung cancer is reported [as 50%.] - prevalent should mean dominant so I'm not sure it is measured, has a quantitative measure associated with it. And you need to say in what context, population, sample it is prevalent.

You could say You will be surprised to know that the prevalence of lung cancer has been reported at 50%. You will be surprised to know that the prevalence of lung cancer is as high as 50%.

even if you change surprise to surprised, it remains correct grammar but a meaningless sentence.
