Pets and food How to say about animals which people grow and keep for eating their meat or other life products (milk, wool, eggs)? Not domestic animals but ... ? And are pets = domestic animals?

First, you mean livestock? Animals such as cattle and sheep which are kept on a farm are referred to as livestock Second, a pet is an animal that you keep in your home to give you company and pleasure. So pets ≠ domestic animals.
