What does अखियार mean?
Hi all,
I checked on http://www.shabdkosh.com/ but could not find the meaning of अखियार. Does anyone know?

In my view there is no such word in Hindi, I think it must be अख्तियार which means RIGHT, POWER (jurisdiction).
Hindi natives, please give your views.

Thank you Sirius, that is exactly what I wanted to know. I accidentally missed the त joined to the ख. That's probably why Shabdkosh couldn't find this word. Thanks for putting me right.
