Use of ''よね'' My Japanese friend send me an email where he says the following: ''デカプリオが出てるやつですよね?!'' (He is talking about the new ''Gatsby'' movie) I would like to ask about the use of ''よね'' combined. Thanks!

The 'ね' is an ending particle, and in that sentence it is used to affectionately confirm what was just said. Examples: 出発はあしたでしたね You are leaving tomorrow, aren't you? 痛くないですよね I hope it won't hurt, will it? いいね、分かったね Okay? You understand?
