Hænge I found two verbs for hænge. One of them marked “tr”, another one as “intr”. First one in past tense is “hængte” another one is “hang”. What's the difference between?

Before I looked it up, I had no idea what the difference were. Normaly I just use what sounds the best. Nonetheless, an explanation (sort of), Transitve verbs has or can have an object. The sentence can be passive and active. Intransitive verbs do not have an object Something like that. I'll gladly look more into it if you'd like.
