What's the difference between" possessive adjective" and" adjectival possessive pronoun"? Are" possessive adjective" and "adjectival possessive pronoun" the same thing or not? If not, what's the difference between them?

Confusing grammar jargon. possessive adjective = my, your, his, hers, their, etc. Something needs to follow thee words. adjectival possessive pronoun = mine, yours, his, hers, theirs etc. Nothing should follow these words because the thing has already been mentioned.
