Cùng or Với Whats the difference in these words. Are they interchangeable? In what circumstance do I use one or the other?

basically they are the same. You even can use them together as "cùng với". but "cùng" is more like "together" and "với" is more like "with" or "and"

cùng = với = cùng với ((together) with) *cùng: a bit formal *với: N với N = và (and) You can use them interchangeably.

English mean: I with his friend go to the hotel
