How do you say: "Zwei Kulturen treffen aufeinander"? How can you say: "Zwei Kulturen treffen aufeinander"? (but not in a positive way, e.g. two cultures meet)

You can say "Two cultures clashed" meaning they did not fit together which likely led to war or conflict. You could also say, the "two cultures came across each other" which implies that they learned about each other and saw each other without implying they actually got together in a friendly way, but also does not automatically mean something negative either.
