When I must use to "Cheers"? I read in somewhere that it is a simply "Thank You".. but "Cheers" not used at the same causes.. is that true?

Not in the US. "Cheers" is only used here as a toast (brindimos, salud, etc) when you are sharing a drink. In the UK I think you will hear it quite often for all sorts of things like "thank you" and "good bye."

Yes, James B is right. As an Aussie, I use "cheers" when I clink glasses, and also as thanks and goodbye. It's my typical sign-off in an email.
