Instead of opening the letter first She asked the envoy whether Qi state had a good harvest, the citizens in Qi led a peaceful life and Qi emperor was healthy.hearing these words, the envoy replied angrily,'I was summoned to gteet you by Qi, you do not extend your greetings to him instead of the harvest and the citizens and how can you mention the humble things first and then the respected things.Zhao smiled and responded'how can you have a good harvest without citizens? how can you have emperor without the citizens?can we ingore the fundamental matters to care about minor matters'? the envoy was embarrassed to say a word

There should be a space after each period, comma, semi-colon, colon, question mark, and exclamation point. And the first letter of each word of a sentence should be capitalized.

Your profile says you are a high school English teacher in China. I have seen so many college level English learners in China who were never taught the REQUIRED use of capital letters and the REQUIRED spacing of periods and commas (as well as other punctuation) when typing English. Please look carefully at any standard English text and note carefully how it is formatted. These are very important details that must be followed even as you are working on proper grammar and syntax. Please begin to stress the proper formatting of English text with your students.
