High tea involves some food.

Afternoon tea is commonly used. High tea isn't. ;^) Here - afternoon tea is a very commonly used phrase for a tea/coffee break. It may or may not involve food. I've never been to, or had, a high tea. I think it's a British, or possibly only English institution, and I think that it's quite formal.
