"watching" or "looking at" ? "Lisa was standing on the terrace watching the sunset." "Karen noticed the girl looking at her." I think that you can use both watching and looking at in these two sentences. Can I exchange them ? What is the difference between "watching" and "looking at"?

The attitude of the observer. I can look at something without noticing subtle details. I pay attention more when I watch something.
