What does "nursing a toothache" mean? When we are sick, we cannot wait for our illness to be over, and we focus on how slowly the time is passing. The same applies to waiting in line or nursing a toothache. "nursing a toothache" means that we have to wait until toothache is wearing down as time is passing? Please help me! Thanks!^^
