How do you formally greet someone in Korean? I know that, Anneyeonghasseo, or Anneyeong means hello in Korean, but to formally greet someone, do you say Jon-Dae-Mal? Which one is more respectful? Thank you! :3

Jondaemmal or 존댓말 is the word for respectful and formal language. Panmal is the word for casual and intimate language. 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo) is formal and respectful. It's 존댓말 (Jon-dae-mal). 안녕 (annyeong) is casual language. It's 반말 (panmal) This lesson should answer any questions you have (by the way, Talktomeinkorean is also a great program in general). http://www.talktomeinkorean.com/lessons/l1l1/
