However is an adverb. It means in whatever way, " Do it however you want to do it". It can also mean nevertheless (In spite of)

"However" should be used whenever you want to change direction in your train of thought. What follows "however" stands in opposition to the words that preceded it.

when you are saying something but you want to point that something is not necessary exact or true like for example: i'm a basketball player however i don't like sports.
