Is used for a period of time 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day, a month, a year etc...

Used since a point in time - 10 o'clock, January 2nd, August, 2001, yesterday etc ...

example

I have lived here since 2006. Vivo aquí desde el 2006.
I have lived here for 2 years. Vivo aqui desde hace 2 años.
