Which sentence is more preferble? "my neighboring/neiborhood town" Hi, thanks for stopping by.:) These following sentences grammatically makes sense? Or, how would you express this more naturally?(in Everyday English,please) Okay,here is my attempt. 1: Harajuku is my neighboring town. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from my apartment to get there. 2 : Harajuku is my neighborhood town and it takes about 30 minutes to walk to get there. Your help will be very much appreciated. "Neighboring" is better. Using "neighborhood" implies that the town is in your neighborhood, which doesn't make any sense. It sounds a little strange to say "my neighboring town." It's more often phrased "a neighboring town."
