Is 'rice' (in cooked form, ready to eat) and 'rice' (alive plant) the same in Arabic language? رز ruzzun, isn't it?

In Arabic it's أرز Aroz not رز that is used in some dialects ... You can use مفور Mufawwar to distinguish between cooked and non cooked rice ... أرز غير مفور Aroz ghayr mufawwar = non cooked rice . أرز مفور Aroz mufawwar = cooked rice . Hope it helps ^^
