'Though' at the end of the sentence has the meaning of 'however' . It's the same as putting 'but' at the beginning. Tom's a good student, but he's a bit lazy. Tom's a good student. He's a bit lazy, though.

For example: Is it alright though? In this case, it means: Is it alright nevertheless / anyways / despite that?
