It could be anything depending on the context. "Hi, John, it's already 9 o'clock. Are you still coming for dinner?" "I am on my way now." "How far are you?" Another situation: "I still haven't balanced the bank reconciliation for June! Help!" "How far out are you? Let's see." Many possibilities.
