What is the meaning of this sentence? What is the meaning of this sentence, "The higher the pressure, the more tightly the disc fits into the seat."? Does it mean something like; whatever more pressure, the disc fits into the seat more tightly? Could you please explain this sentence structure?

Yes, you got it! So - when the pressure is high then the disc fits better (or more tightly) into the seat :)
