what's the difference between ~는 김에 and ~는 길에 ? give me some examples please . thanks ^^

~는 길에 means "on the way, (do something else)" (길 = road) 집에 오는 길에 아이스크림 사 와. On your way home buy some ice cream (and bring it here). 는 김에 = "while you are doing something, (do something else)" 자 만들는 김에 , 전 커피 만들어 주실래요 - since you're making tea , do you mind making me some coffee too? http://www.talktomeinkorean.com/lessons/l6l9/
